Hand Shadows

An unusual anthology that doesn’t push the envelope like many of its independent peers yet shares their unpredictability and raw, unpolished artwork. Hand Shadows is a smorgasbord of different styles and genres. For example, the second issue features everything from the gritty pulp fiction of “Maxwell Hammer” to the science fiction comedy of “Christopher Q. Cosmos, Space Janitor.”

“Christopher Q. Cosmos” is probably the closest to anything mainstream in “Hand Shadows.” In the second issue hostile watchdog robots at an abandoned space station greet Cosmos and his partner Larry Lunus.
