“The illustrated magazine of fear, fantasy, future” was a short story bonanza. For example-Lester was an ordinary college student taking a step into history by being the first person on Earth to be teleported. Unfortunately, an earthquake erupted and he found himself on another world where magic and science walk hand in hand. In another tale, poor Victor was having a bad month. Now he must battle deadly wizards and save ladies in distress.

A short lived early black-and-white independent production for mature audiences which might have been highly successful if not for various misadventures that ended it far too soon. Barry Keller and Baron Mrkva were creative and promising, but the comic book industry is sometimes a dirty business that takes no prisoners. They went on to better things, but we still have this as a legacy.

Issue one sported a cover by Alex Nino while the second issue cover carried Neal Adams’ inks.
