In this short-lived series set in the world of Witchblade and The Darkness, writer/artist Brandon Peterson (Medieval Spawn/Witchblade, Astonishing X-Men) explores the nature of magic in the Top Cow universe. It is a force that determines the turning points in the course of human events, and, as the new millennium approaches, magic creates six avatars to guide the world into the next century. They are Ramat Nassir, the Avatar of Light; Ming Chang, the Avatar of Life; Marie Isanove, the Avatar of Battle; Georgi Milovic, the Avatar of Cold; Luiz Benitez, the Avatar of Earth; and Baron, the Avatar of Death. However, will their efforts create a new Renaissance or another Age of Darkness?
