An English translation of a French import comic, this one-shot was originally published in two parts by Semic, the French publisher of Todd McFarlane’s Spawn and many other American comics. This story, slighted adapted, takes place after the 100th issue of the American Spawn comic. Caught between Hell, his former mentor Cogliostri, the Catholic Church, and mad scientists bent on creating a super–soldier, Spawn must fight through the catacombs under Paris and face a twisted version of himself in brutal combat. Dark and brooding artwork reminiscent of the painted work of Ben Templesmith (30 Days of Night, Dark Days, Singularity 7) makes this book a perfect compliment to any Spawn fan’s collection.
