This enticingly weird three-issue series is the brainchild of Kevin Atkinson. Its contents are an array of bizarre action stories, mixing adventure with a heavy dose of the surreal.

Leading off the pack is “Eaters,” a detective tale starring metal-jawed investigator Caleb Steele. He’s out to solve a string of murders where the victims have had their brains drilled out. The culprits: a string of mutated, carnivorous cod and a robot hooker gone haywire.

Other stories include “The Dog,” the story of a weredog in a ten-gallon hat who has to stop the devilish Victor Quasimodo. Quasimodo will do anything, including brainwashing, torture, and bribery to get Dog to make dog food commercials for him.
