For a mere 25¢, readers of Marvel Collector’s Item Classics got four separate stories from Marvel’s Silver Age. These giant-sized editions featured early exploits of the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Thor, and many more of Marvel’s greatest heroes. These were reprinted in a series of giant-size issues between 1965 and 1969. Perhaps the most remarkable thing about this series is that a company so young had already begun reprinting its “classics.”
