Sting of the Green Hornet

    (Now, 1992)
™ and ©1992 The Green Hornet, Inc.

This is a fun, four-part mini-series that pulls the original Green Hornet and his sidekick Kato, out of their normal milieu and plops them into the middle of World War II. As in the regular series, the Green Hornet and Kato are perceived by the general public as criminals. However, a little known government agency knows the truth about the emerald avenger and hires the two crime fighters as agents in the war effort.

As members of the agency, the two heroes are made privy to a secret experiment. This experiment is supposed to turn a skinny private into a super-soldier, complete with muscles that contain super-human strength. The test subject is named Steve. Hmm…this sounds familiar…

The Green Hornet and Kato have many adventures throughout the series. One of their most prestigious acts is when they save President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s life.
