Madame Xanadu

    (DC, 1981)
™ and ©1981 DC Comics, Inc.

Mysterious and dark, she inhabits a strange shop in the middle of a small village. To her customers, she is known as Madame Xanadu, reader of the Tarot. Unlike so many charlatans, Madame Xanadu is able to look into the future, and into people’s souls by her readings of the cards. She uses this knowledge to help people, although not always in the way they had imagined.

After appearing as a minor character in a number of DC series, this one-shot showcase gave the fortune-teller a chance to shine on her own.
