Evangelist John Gyer, his wife Virginia, and their driver Earl run into a Texas downpour that diverts them to the Cottonwood Motel for the night. This night happens to include the return of the ghosts Buck and Sadie, dead for thirty years, as they try to spend one last night together in the hopes of making sense of his murder and her execution. Virginia’s addictions and ability to see and hear the murdered couple build this modern day ghost story toward an interesting conclusion.

Steve Niles excellent adaptation of Clive Barker’s short story with illustrations by Lionel Talaro. This gripping graphic novel is for mature readers.
