Clueless Spring Special

Clueless was one of the most successful teen-oriented sitcoms of the 1990’s; it aired for one season on ABC and two additional seasons on UPN and enjoys a healthy life in syndication. The sitcom chronicles the life of the good-hearted, but somewhat dippy, Cher Horowitz, a Beverly Hills teen trying to navigate the choppy waters of adolescence with her equally clueless friends, Dionne Davenport and Amber Mariens. Based on a 1995 film that itself is a contemporary rendition of Jane Austen’s Emma, Clueless came to comics in the form of this slick magazine from Marvel. The plots are pure, sitcom-type silliness, and the pictures are sub-par Archie-style fare; but the magazine also features pin-ups of the TV series’ actresses, as well as interviews.
