Shao Lin monk Xau Wei reads of archaeologist Charles Worthington discovering several ancient texts and a strange sword in the Iberian Peninsula. He approaches the scientist and informs him that Charlie looks very much like an ancient warrior whose image has been passed down through the ages. He helps Charlie translate the scrolls, which tell of the origins of the Shao Lin forms of martial arts. The most difficult style was that of the Wu-Tang sword. An evil emperor learned thirty-five of the thirty-six steps then destroyed the temple and all but one of the monks. That monk taught his skills to a small band of warriors and taught their leader the thirty-sixth chamber as well. This is the story of how they sliced through an army and the emperor himself.

Beautiful art, but the sort of action packed storyline you need to read every issue in order to keep up with.
