The Predators are the galaxy’s big game hunters—a savage race whose thirst for bloodsport is tempered by a warrior’s code. The Aliens are huge, swarming creatures of razor-sharp teeth and acid blood. In War, the Predators invade a planet completely ravaged by the Aliens. Their goal is to infiltrate the Alien nest and steal the Alien queen. The Predators are accompanied on this mission by Nachiko Noguchi, a human woman. Noguchi proved herself a true warrior on the planet Ryushi (see the Aliens vs. Predator mini-series) and has earned a position with the Predators.

Still, Noguchi’s every movement is watched and judged by the Predators on this hunting party. In addition to this awesomely perilous mission into the heart of the Alien hive, she is also endangered by junior members of her own party who are envious of her role. In this four-issue mini-series (with a #0 issue prologue), this sole survivor of the Ryushi massacre faces her toughest battles of all.
