Sgt. Frog is an ongoing Manga saga distributed by Tokyopop. It stars a band of frog characters that bear a remote resemblance to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They interact with various humans in short vaguely connected vignettes labeled as chapters. The material volleys between humorous to downright weird; especially when the story focuses on some Japanese customs. Fortunately, footnotes ease the pain somewhat and the characters battle on to fight another adventure along with occasional bits of sexual titillation.
