This Ian Churchill series is the tale of archaeologist Karen Quinn and her accidental transformation into Lionheart, a powerful warrior whose origin is tied to a mysterious amber stone and an attack by the villainous Blackheart. Lionheart is infused with a divine power tracing back to the Garden of Eden and the expulsion of Adam and Eve.

This title features the dynamic artistic style for which Image (and especially Awesome Entertainment) is so well known. This larger-than-life approach is well suited for a super-hero whose powers are endowed by the creator and a tale that relies upon Christian mythology.
