Winterworld

Winterworld is a three-issue mini-series about a future that no one would ever wish for. Since the ozone breakdown, the Earth has become world of perpetual winter. Most have died and those who live, do so under the rule of tyrannical men and women who have access to heat. Heat means life, as well as the ability to grow food. In Winterworld, old heated stadiums went from places of recreation to forced labor camps where the prisoners grow food for their captors.

Outside, the people are no better. The icy outside world is the province of raiders and gun-toting paranoids. In this deadly winterworld, two people, Scully and Wynn, have joined forces in order to survive. Noted action writer Chuck Dixon tells their story, with outstanding art by newcomer Jorge Zaffino.
