Ray-Mond

    (Deep-Sea, 1998)
™ and ©1998 David Boswell

David Boswell (Reid Fleming, World’s Toughest Milkman) offers up Ray-Mond as his answer to super-hero comics. According to the publisher’s note, Ray-Mond has “a suitcase full of super-powers, and with them the tremendous responsibility to use them for good.” In his daily, non-super-heroic life, Raymond is a put-upon office worker. When he slaps on his zapping helmet, he becomes Ray-Mond, righter of wrongs—such as littering, stealing, speaking rudely to parents, being too insistent with women, and threatening others. He has the best of intentions; but, unfortunately, his double life gets him in trouble with his boss. How will Ray-Mond strike a balance between being a costumed do-gooder and being a regular Joe who has to put in his forty hours every week? Good question …and this series is laugh-out-loud funny!
