High Octane Theatre
(Infiniti, 1997)
™ and ©1996 The Vesta Corporation, John Villalino, Jeremy Sifter, Jim Murdoch, and Gerimi Burleigh
This fast-paced, black-and-white anthology features the corporate-operated troubleshooting team of Jezebel and Radar. Jezebel is the sexy female field operative, while Radar is her telepathic male counterpart. While Jezebel is on a mission, Radar floats in a sensory-deprivation tank where he can see, hear, and feel everything his partner experiences. He can also take control of her body, although the ethics of this are troubling to him.
In other stories we meet Jeremy Sifter, a film noir-styled private eye, who has the added benefit of being able to transform himself into any animal, and Louie, a cigar-smoking, hard-drinking angel, who may be a suicidal young man’s only hope against the demon that wants to claim his soul.
