Rowdy and Beautiful Women Sketch Book (Neal Adams…)

    (Neal Adams, 2005)
™ and © 2005 Neal Adams

Neal Adams’ place in comic book history is secure. The legendary artist; best-known for his classic work on Batman and Green Lantern/Green Arrow, can pretty much do whatever he wants these days. And as he admits in the text accompanying these sketch book pages, one thing he really enjoys doing is drawing beautiful women. Each image features finished or unfinished sketches of characters both famous (Black Canary) and lesser-known (some of his latter work for Continuity Comics). All are distinctly Neal Adams.

The work is interesting primarily for Adams’ commentary that runs along with the drawings, sharing his mindset and approach for each. The oversized collection is black and white and beautiful all over.
