Hard Time: Season Two

Hard Time: Season Two hits the ground rolling after a critically successful Season One. Protagonist Ethan Harrow is still serving his fifty-to-life in prison, after he and a friend participated in a high school shooting. Ethan did it as a joke, his friend Brandon Snodd took it all too seriously. During the shooting, Ethan discovered the supernatural force that inhabits his body.

Season Two explores and defines Ethan’s prison experiences on a deeper level. He is part of a prison group called the Outsiders, folks who don’t fit neatly into other cliques. Writers Gerber and Skrenes also pay attention to the individual characters in the drama, such as Cutter, the preacher with a misguided sense of good and evil, Cindy, the man longing to be a woman, and Ethan himself, who fits surprisingly smoothly into the penal system for a 17 year-old. Sometimes violent and sadistic, sometimes strangely poignant, you’ll actually enjoy doing a stretch with Hard Time.
