Blondie & Dagwood Family
(Harvey, 1963)
™ and © Harvey Comic Publications
Blondie the comic strip debuted in 1930 in the newspapers, then in 1947, Blondie first appeared in comic books. Harvey published Blondie Comics after acquiring it from David McKay Publishing, then they added Dagwood Comics and finally Daisy and Her Pups. Harvey knew they had a comic book hit on their hands, but before they lost the license in 1965, they added one more book, a giant size squarebound title called Blondie and Dagwood Family. This spin-off consisted entirely of reprints of previous issues from the other titles.
