Casper and Spooky

Spooky, the Tuff (sic) Little Ghost first appeared in a Casper theatrical cartoon, but it really was in name only. His signature derby and black 8-ball nose came later. His comic book debut was in Casper the Friendly Ghost #10 back in June 1953, and his popularity as a smart aleck won him his own title in 1955. After Spooky debuted, and its spin-offs Spooky Spooktown and Tuff Ghosts, it was only inevitable that Spooky would re-team with his initial partner during the brief Casper title explosion in the early 70s with this series of brand-new stories.
