And there came a day, unlike any other day, when a whole mess of super-baddies broke out of their cells at the Raft—a place designed to hold said super bad nasties either too insane to execute or that even S.H.I.E.L.D. had no idea how to kill. In putting a cork in the situation, the mighty Avengers were reborn Unfortunately, quite a few got away and have to be found a.s.a.p.. The New Avengers have their work cut out for them and this one-shot collection of super villainy will not only help the reader keep track of who’s still out there and making occasional guest spots in the new book, but might perhaps provide clues as to who the number one bad guy was who was the prime goal of the entire breakout to begin with.

A lot of text. A lot of clues. People you thought were dead aren’t anymore and this book will tell you why. Still, the most fun in the thing are the occasional “user notes” at the end of most entrees—from the tactical hints from Captain America to the hilarious jabs Spider-Man gets in every so often, this title is a must have for those following the new Avengers and their latest lineup.
