Royal Roy

Cashelot is a fabulous land where majestic mountains sit (literally) side by side with shining cities and quaint villages. This postage stamp-sized country is ruled by King Regal and Queen Regalia. These are the latest of a long line of friendly and benevolent rulers. When they retire, they’ll be passing on the crown to their young son, prince Royal Roy.

Roy’s best friend is his pet Gummy, a toothless “Crocogator.” Gummy is a friendly sort who seems to think he’s a dog (to the point of barking and living in an elongated dog house). Although essentially harmless, Gummy can still help Roy scare off poachers and evildoers.

This rather short-lived series bears an obvious resemblance to cartoon classic Richie Rich.
