Alexis E. Fajardo, perhaps best known for Plato’s Republic, which follows a platypus upon his philosophic blunderings through pop-culture and politics, has created a “graphic novel series about a childhood gone heroic!”

Inspired by the epic poem, Fajardo has put his own unique spin on the characters of Beowulf and Grendel, making them twelve-year-old twin brothers. With illustrations reminiscent of the great comic series Groo, Kid Beowulf chronicles the brothers’ adventures through exotic lands as they defeat their own villains and meet fellow young heroes.
