In the eyes of the world, the Fantastic Four are celebrated heroes, and Spider-Man is a menace. Small wonder that the wall-crawler figures he can reverse public opinion of him by joining up with the Fantastic Four. To do that, he figures he’ll impress them—by breaking into their Baxter Building headquarters! Easier said than done, but he’s not the Ordinary Spider-Man, after all.
If this story seems a bit familiar to some readers, it should; a version of it was told by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko way back in the 1960s in Amazing Spider-Man #1. It’s been re-imagined for this Marvel Age title, part of Free Comic Book Day 4 in 2005. Todd Dezago writes it and Michael O’Hare draws it.
