Medics

    (Shanda, 2005)
™ and © Shanda

Based loosely on writer’s Jon Crusoe’s thirty-two years of experience in EMS, the anthropomorphic crew of the Medics is only mildly crazy. Slapstick situations and rampant explosions seem to follow this animal crew with human names, which includes Lance Carter, the “foxy” captain considers himself a professional hero; Lily Sharpe’s cat-like aloofness belies her softer side; Bambi Horne is the other lovely feline-faced-female who isn’t as good with adult patients as she is with children; Terry Beauregard is a skunk with an obsession with Elvis Presley; Terry Hobbs, the raccoon with big ambitions, has his eye on the position of captain himself someday, and Moses “Bat” Masterson is the slightly omniscient station cook.
