X-Statix Presents: Dead Girl

When Marvel’s bizarre X-Statix series concluded, writer Peter Milligan and artist Mike Allred killed off virtually all of their original mutant characters. But why should that keep them from starring in a new mini-series?

The X-Statix heroes and many other deceased characters, including Gwen Stacy, Mockingbird, and Ant-Man, are back to help Dr. Strange thwart the evil of the Pitiful One. He’s hoping that he and other long-dead villains can be resurrected—after all, since so many others have been brought back before, why not him?

Milligan writes and Allred inks (over Nick Dragotta in an Allred-esque style) this offbeat limited series, which mixes humor, drama, and nostalgia in equal parts.
