Pronounced “stroovelpayter”, this hardback collection of cautionary tales for children has its origins as far back as 1844 by German physician Heinrich Hoffman. The stories have been translated and modified numerous times over the years, but this version tries to remain faithful to the original version with all of its political correctness intact. Inside you will meet such alluring characters as Slovenly Peter and Cruel Frederick. The book is quite humorous and would be a welcome addition to any child’s or anyone’s bookshelf.
