Cracked Collectors’ Edition

The long-running Cracked magazine (mazagine?) created this series as a showcase for compiling their long-running Shut-Ups feature into a single collection. When this format proved popular, other themes were attempted, the most successful of which were issues that focused on Cracked’s many horror monster comics. Later issues in the line featured more pages and sometimes contained bonuses similar to other specials issued by Cracked and Mad. At least one issue per year was one highlighting the best of the previous year’s material. The best issues to seek out are the ones that focus on John Severin and Don Martin and the one that reprints Cracked #1 in its entirety.
