From the Tomb

A retrospective fanzine cataloguing the many, many horror publications from the 1950s through the early ‘80s (though a few horror comics, of course, soldier on to the present day), with an especial affection for the flag-bearer of the horror anthology, Tales from the Crypt and its sister EC publications. There is also a batch of original material that’s successfully creepy, with shadowy, deserted landscapes, creaky architecture, and a doomed narrative tone. Definitely a pick-up for the dedicated horror fan. This is the product of people with a lot of love for the form and the knowledge to discuss it at variety.
