Representing daydreaming bachelors everywhere, Keitaro finds himself in a dilemma. Unable to pass the exam to get into Tokyo University, he is exiled from his parents’ house and must seek asylum at his grandmother’s inn. But no one told him she had left and the inn was now a girl’s dorm!
Bequeathed Hinata House (complete with hot spring), can he gain the residents’ trust, posing as a student of a school that has never admitted him? Then, can he survive the lovely Naru, manipulative Kitsune, kendo-wielding Motoko, and shy Shinobu? Moreover, can he keep the promise he made to his childhood sweetheart to reunite with her at Tokyo U?
Fulfilling a man’s fantasy of fending off throngs of young women in various states of undress, Akamatsu has set his sights low in a number of ways. Though naked body parts have been edited out, Keitaro’s actions should satisfy perverts everywhere. This competently executed comedy caters to chauvinistic peeping Toms but still retains enough sweetness to lull girls into thinking it’s amusing.
