After the events of Infinite Crisis in the DC universe, “One Year Later” we are introduced to a new chapter in the life of one Arthur Joseph Curry. A storm sends Arthur into the sea where he is contacted by the Dweller in the Depths who sends him to save the life of King Shark. Together they embark upon a quest to bring peace back to the ravaged cities of Atlantis and the surrounding ocean depths, as well as piecing together Arthur’s true origins.

A new direction for the long running series with new characters and many surprises for long time and new readers. Aquaman: Sword of Atlantis takes a walk into the realm of sword and sorcery with a little mystery thrown for good measure. Things are not always what they seem and some familiar characters may be returning to the pages of Aquaman with a few new twists.
