Chicago, 1928, the height of prohibition. Cole Cash is a cop looking to avenge the death of his brother Max who was killed after refusing to take a dive in a boxing match. When a botched warehouse raid leaves Cole without a job and on the bad side of Antonio Helsponti, Cole must seek the aide of the mysterious Jake Marlowe who offers Cole a chance for payback. Now armed to the hilt, with vengeance on his side, Cole Cash becomes The Grifter and quickly learns that the bad guys aren’t always from this world.

Fans of the WildC.A.T.S will enjoy seeing their hero in a different time period. And keep an eye out for cameos by other member including Maul and Voodoo.

The Wild Times series also features other Wildstorm heroes in alternate time periods including DV8 in 1944, Gen 13 in 1969, Deathblow in 1899, and Wetworks in 1955.
