Liberty Girl

    (Heroic, 2006–2007, 2012)
™ and ©2006 Heroic Publishing, Inc.

Fresh from the Free Comic Book Day promo, Liberty Girl returns to assault adventure fans.

Let’s look at the pack here. The poster-quality Mark Sparacio cover and interior art, inspired writing from Publisher and Editor Dennis Mallonee, and the delightful Icicle feature at the end add up to a package well worth buying.

How do people in the story react when they remember Liberty Girl? Some go to eBay to bid on signed posters from 1943, while other (more powerful) leaders search for their godchild. The villain in this issue, Daemon Kreuz, cowers. With this issue, the temporal gates are opened, and LG returns to “active” duty.

What a cool issue. Sparacio’s art is stunning. Collectors of “Good Girl” art take note: Liberty Girl rocks. Lettering and colors make this one work of love.

Dennis Mallonee is on the right track. Let’s hope sales are good enough to see this company blossom with a full line of its amazing characters.
