Impossible Man Summer Vacation Spectacular

    (Marvel, 1990-1991)
™ and ©1991 Marvel Entertainment Group

The Impossible Man has been the bane of the Fantastic Four for ages (and of pun-haters everywhere, for that matter). As a member of the strange species known as Popuppians, he’s able to change his shape to assume any form (the switches happen with a characteristic “Pop!” sound). Unfortunately, Impy is gifted with a very whimsical sense of humor, and uses his shape-shifting powers to imitate everyone from Muhammad Ali to Al Bundy of Married…With Children—anything to make a joke.

Impy normally lives on a far-away planet with his wife and 4,682 children. In the second of these summer vacation spectaculars, #4,682 is missing, and Impy figures the kid’s on Earth. So away he goes, searching for his offspring, and suffering, or rather, making everyone else suffer, as he jokes his way through misadventure after misadventure.
