This Free Comic Book Day volume from writer/artist John Gallagher has the spoofy Captain Ultra and his Power Coalition getting sucked into an energy vortex, but not before leaving Ultra’s sidekick Buzzboy with the cryptic message to “take off your mask.” Mix that with some unexplained amnesia, and it’s not clear to anyone what the heck is going on.

Buzzboy and the Teen Extreme chow down on cheeseburgers and milkshakes and mix it up with a Batman parody named Captain Bluehen, the Downbeat Detective from Delaware. Also included: three pages of advice about how to be a comic book artist and a preview of Roboy Red, a graphic novel project about a robot super-hero refugee.
