Dominique: White Knuckle Drive

Nikki Sinclair is a private investigator, specializing in insurance cases, fighting the good fight against the scoundrels of the big city. She’s also a former FBI agent, codename “Dominique,” and possesses all the skills that come with that distinction. So why is it that she’s the one being interrogated by police? Well, it could be because she is, in the view of one cop, “a loose cannon, piling up bodies in her wake.” But more critically, her investigation into a sadistic criminal known as “Russian Bob” has coincided with local authorities, who aren’t too fond of her meddling. Even if she is closer to cracking the case than they are. Will she back off? Or is she in too far already?

Published in black-and-white by Caliber Press, this well written and drawn noirish one-shot is by Charles and Lisa Moore and Matthew Smith.
