Judge Child

The Judge Child Quest is a five-issue mini-series which originally ran in 2000 A.D. #156–181. Mega-City One has fallen on hard times, and oracles have predicted the city’s destruction would happen in the year 2120. The only hope lies in locating a special child named Owen Krysler, who bears the mark of an eagle on his forehead. Unfortunately, Owen has been taken by mutant slavers into the Cursed Earth, and it’s up to Judge Dredd to find him.

Eagle Comics brought the Judge Dredd stories from Great Britain to the United States and presented it to an entirely new audience. Judge Dredd was created for the comic magazine 2000 A.D., which has run weekly since 1977.

With colorful covers by English comic artist Brian Bolland, The Judge Child Quest features artwork by Brian Bolland, Ron Smith and Mike McMahon. Longtime favorite John Wagner wrote the script.
