Sheva Callister fought mystical creatures and rescued great treasures with the help of her hunger sword. With one last big score, Parnell, her partner, lost his life, and she left the sword-for-hire business. Now she’s been called out of retirement, asked to retrieve a priceless relic from the most lawless family in the city. With the help of some ghostweed, her dead partner is even along to offer his advice. But at every turn, things go wrong. The guards are waiting for them, a necromancer is on hand to take care of Parnell, and the man facing Sheva has a hunger sword of his own. Has it all been just a set-up?
