The collection containing comic-sized reproductions of Jim Lee’s X-Men trading cards set. On the cards themselves the art looked rushed, but enlarging it truly reveals how sketchy the pictures are. Jim Lee just about to leave Marvel to set up Image, uses stock poses throughout, making no effort with backgrounds and would appear to have dashed these off at the rate of a dozen a day. Laughing all the way to the bank? Yes, loudly and incessantly.
