Dynomutt

It seemed that every dog that came out of Hanna-Barbera after the runaway success of Scooby Doo was yet another variation on the Great Dane. Dynomutt was another one of these, but it incorporated a new twist: using elements from The Six Million Dollar Man, H-B created a bionic dog, one with superpowers that teamed up with the humanesque Blue Falcon. Falcon was the straight man to Dynomutt’s clumsiness. As a team, they were the poor man’s Batman and Robin, but successful enough to be included in the following year’s Laff-a-Lympics.
