Rather than the grown-up identity of Batman’s former partner, Dick Grayson, Nightwing in the Tangent Universe is a super-secret covert organization, manipulating events and influencing political decisions for its own agenda. This title is a part espionage, part supernatural thriller featuring a band of mystical rogue operatives that were formerly affiliated with Nightwing. Now they are out to destroy the organization because they feel its aims have been subverted by the Dark Circle, an even more sinister confederation of death-worshippers. But to betray a group as well-entrenched in government as this association of magic-wielders, will require more than the bravado and arrogance that they flaunt to impress each other.
