Giant-Size Hulk (2nd Series)

    (Marvel, 2006)

The entertaining “Planet Hulk” storyline, in which the Hulk is exiled from Earth to an alien world where he’s not necessarily “the strongest one there is,” has fans excited about the character in a way they hadn’t been since Peter David’s lengthy run. What better way to capitalize on that buzz than with this extra-long one-shot that includes a new story from Hulk writer Greg Pak, in which Bruce Banner returns—sort of—to do to the Hulk’s life what he’d always done to Banner’s.

In addition to the Pak story, this issue features a new story set some years in the past where the Hulk battles the Champions (by Peter David), and a reprint of the hard-to-find Hulk: The End story, by David and former Hulk collaborator Dale Keown.
