Mythopolis continues the saga of Anders Higgins, the Starchild, as begun in the original Coppervale Press series. Anders has headed to Brigadoon in search of his missing father Homer. Upon entering the world city of Brigadoon, Anders discovered Maximilian O’Halloran, a kindly toymaker who lives to tell stories to all who will listen. This would all be well and good except that in Brigadoon, storytelling is forbidden—and the dread Grey Men who seek to destroy all stories and their tellers are on the prowl after Max.

An admittedly confusing, but worthwhile series, Starchild bills itself as a “novel in fourteen parts,” featuring the intricate, woodcut-style artwork of James Owen.
