The enigmatic and all powerful Beyonder just won’t go away. After inflicting endless mayhem in the Marvel Universe in Secret Wars and Secret Wars II, that living embodiment of the Cosmic Cube is at it again. This time he kidnaps nine heroes and villains who were minding their own business and forces them to try and destroy each other on Battleworld.
Faces include: Hank Pym, the Wasp, Firebird, Gravity, Medusa of the Inhumans and your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Heels: Venom (Mac Gargan), Kraven the Hunter (Alyosha Kravinoff) and the Hood. If they succeed, they attain their heart’s desire. If they fail… well, let’s just concentrate on succeeding. Of course the heroes want to work together to escape their confinement, but as tempers flare and egos clash, it’s every hero (and villain) for themselves.
