This is the exact same book as Superman Returns: The Official Movie Adaptation, plus five other stories reprinting recent classic tales of the Man of Steel from his various comic book exploits to entice the reader of the adaptation to venture into the world of where Superman originally came from, the comic book. The rarest and best of these is a story that originally appeared in a 1973 oversized comic called The Amazing World of Superman. A good taster of Superman stories for the novice fan, but by all means not comprehensive, and it is recommended to readers to seek out some of the other volumes advertised in the back of the book.
