The fantastic stories of the clay-boy Gumby and his pal Pokey the pony are brought to life in Bob Burden and Rick Geary’s book Gumby. Re-creating the adorable, whimsical world created by Art Clokey that was first introduced in 1956, the series brings new tales to life as Gumby explores, makes new friends, and finds himself embroiled in adventures. Always determined to do his best, Gumby prevails against a number of different adversities, from bullies, to robbers, to fires, and provides simple morals and a good example for the youngest of readers.
