Pink Panther (Harvey)

The Pink Panther originated in the title sequence of the live-action comedy film of the same name in 1964. Later that year, an animated series was commissioned and from 1971-1984, Gold Key and Whitman published a popular comic book series featuring the mischievous feline as he continually torments the little white man, who actually was a caricature of series creator Friz Freleng, also famous for his work on Bugs Bunny. This Harvey-published series reprinted stories from the 87-issue Gold Key/Whitman run, but featured brand-new front cover artwork.
