Trippy tales of goth misanthropy, bad parenting form, and the psychic undead rise from the fields of Screwtooth Cemetery where Wren and her gang of paranormal investigators plumb the secret lives of the dearly and not-so-dearly departed for wisdom and fulfillment.

Writer/artist Black Olive (a.k.a. Los Angeles-based painter Lesley Reppeteaux) has a distinctly unhinged and addled vision; Screwtooth hums with kooky energy and free spirit. Olive/Reppeteaux enlivens the gray scale illustration with doodly details and background bits worth lingering over without obscuring the fundamental sadness and ugliness propelling the visual narrative forward.
