A boy, Terry, searching for a vast treasure. The adventurer, Pat Ryan, who protects him. The good-hearted sidekick, Connie, who joins their quest. And the free-spirited women they encounter on their journeys through the exotic Orient. Together, these adventurers find action, danger, and death—after all, there are pirates every step of the way, to say nothing of the fearsome Dragon Lady—in Milton Caniff’s classic newspaper comic strips dating back to the 1930s. At the time, there was nothing quite like them, and they helped set the tone for the comics that followed.

This series reprints both the classic, original strips and also the “new” adventures, published decades later, in which Terry is no longer a boy but a young man.
